Elder Angela Bishop Hammonds

Elder Angela Bishop Hammond, a native of Columbia, SC, was born March 11, 1962. A daughter of the late Bishop R. L. Bishop and Dr. Azalee C. Bishop, she is from a family of four children that was destined for great purpose in the will of God. Elder Hammond has three sons, Christopher, Joseph and Danny. Brought up in the church at an early age as a musician and soloist, Elder Hammond has gone through all the transitions of church growth, carnal and spiritual. She diligently and faithfully serves Grace Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Aaron R. E. Bishop as Department Leader for Worship & Arts and Director of Church Operations. Elder Hammond’s love for God is unstoppable. She is definitely a woman sent and called for such a time as this. She is an example of leadership found faithful and true in the house of the Lord. As you get to know the woman behind the power, you will find that she is fun, loves to laugh, relaxed, and enjoys life to the fullest. Patricia J. Lawrence is a native of Aiken, SC. Daughter of the late Lonnie and Verdree Jenkins. Ms. Lawrence is the mother two children, Kizzy Jefferson and Kevan Lawrence. She is employed with the SCDMH in the Insurance Department at WSHPI. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in 1998, Masters Of Biblical Studies in 2000 from The Institute For Christian Works Bible College and Seminary. Mrs. Lawrence was License in the Ministry and received her Doctorate of Biblical Studies in 2001 from The Institute for Christian Works Bible College And Seminary. One of Mrs. Lawrence favorite scripture… I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation take you but such as common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Ephesians 2:10 proclaims that we are his workmanship, created to do good works… Robin Bishop Jefferson holds fast to this statement. As a faithful leader supporting Christian Education for youth and children alike for some 20 years or more; Robin takes pride in developing the potential of others. She enjoys volunteering in the community, and is strong supporter of children with special needs. She is the proud daughter of Dr. Azalee C. Bishop and the Late Bishop Robert L. Bishop of Columbia, South Carolina. Further, she considers it an extreme blessing to parent her only child, Patrick Andrew Jefferson II, an adventurous 11 year old. She holds a BA in Elementary Education from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte N.C, and a Master’s Degree in Interrelated Studies from Cambridge College in Boston, Mass. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorial Degree in Educational Leadership at South Carolina State University.

Joseph Morris has been a member of Grace Christian Church for 5 years. He is an active part of the Deacon and Deaconess Ministry, the Baptismal Ministry, the Men Ministry, the Men’s choir, Grace Bible College, Sunday School Instructor and the Prayer Ministry. He enjoys studying the Bible and helping others who want to seek the kingdom of Heaven. Favorite Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:16.
